This policy explains how your personal data is processed when you use this website or contact Neiva Cimini / Maison Ipanema, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Belgian law.

Data controller

The controller responsible for the processing of your personal data is Neiva Ferreira Cimini. For any question about this policy or to exercise your rights, contact reception@maisonipanema.be.

What data we collect, and when

When you visit the site: only the minimal technical data necessary for its operation (see the Cookies section).

When you contact us via WhatsApp: your number, your name and the information you choose to share about your situation, including any health information (type of surgery, symptoms).

When you join the Academy waiting list: the name and contact details you provide.

There is currently no automatic collection form or newsletter.

Health data (special category)

Information about your health or surgery is a special category of data under the GDPR (Article 9). We process it only when you provide it voluntarily, with your explicit consent, so that we can assess and carry out your recovery support safely. You are not obliged to share this information and may request its deletion at any time.

Purposes and legal basis

To respond to your enquiry and schedule the appointment (performance of pre-contractual measures and consent).

To carry out the recovery support safely (explicit consent, where health data is involved).

To manage the waiting list and inform you about the Academy (consent).

Sharing with third parties

Your data is not sold. It may be shared, only where necessary and to the minimum extent required, with: your surgeon or doctor (with your agreement, to coordinate care); the messaging application provider (WhatsApp/Meta), subject to that platform's own policies; and the website's technical providers (hosting, email).

Data retention

We keep your data only for as long as necessary for the purposes above and any applicable legal obligations. Recovery support records are kept for the duration of the relationship and for the applicable legal period, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability. You may also withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact reception@maisonipanema.be.

Complaints

If you consider that your data is not being processed correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, via www.dataprotectionauthority.be.

Cookies

This website currently uses only the cookies strictly necessary for its operation and does not use tracking, advertising or audience analysis tools. Should any be added, this policy will be updated and a consent banner will be made available.
